I'm Charné, and I absolutely LOVE what I do!

You can basically say that I had your typical upbringing, born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. Raised by my crazy but funny mother and strict but loving, hard working father.

​

My working career started as an in-store sales person for a very popular but expensive clothing brand, and was then lead in to the field of law. I was then appointed as a conveyancing secretary for a small but successful law firm. I must say,  I enjoyed this a lot, I loved the challenge I was faced with every day and worked my hardest to be the best secretary that I could be. I was in this field for about 5 years.

So in November 2018, I married the man of my dreams and had the most magical wedding and best honeymoon in Zanzibar anyone could ask for.

​

On my return from our honeymoon, the director of the firm approached me with a new venture he had gone in to, which was Real Estate and he felt that I would be the best person to fit the position of Admin Manager, so me loving new things, jumped at the opportunity and was so excited to get going, and this is what has inspired me to start my own business. Going in to this position, I have learnt so many different things, because not only was I doing admin work, I had the opportunity to design different things for the agents, dabble in accounting and actually have a huge variety of different tasks to attend to on a daily basis.

I then got thinking, I have helped this little franchise grow to what it has become today by basically offering the different skill sets that I have, what if I can offer these skills to other companies to assist them to get them where they want to be, and then CG Virtual Assistant was born, with the help of an amazing VA Coach.

​

I absolutely love assisting people and love the challenge of trying to figure out how things work and a lot of the things that I know is self-taught, of which I would love to start studying various different fields to grow my future as well as those of my clients.
